In the order of selection:

First XI Captain/Vice-Captain Selection
Selected by a core group of players from the previous year’s First XI; the core group of players comprising of at-least 5 players from the previous year’s First XI is named by the executive committee.

Selection Committee
The selection committee will comprise of 3 selectors.
The Executive Committee will select:
- 1 player from the previous year’s First XI.
- 1 player from the previous year’s Second XI.
- The 3rd Selector is the Captain of the team being selected.

First XI Selection

The Selection Committee selects a squad of a minimum of
14 players (maximum 16 players) to represent the best team for the club.
- The Selection Committee can add players to the squad during the season from the Touring XI or from new players joining the club, while trying to ensure that not more than 16 players constitute the squad.

Team B Captain/Vice-Captain Selection
- Selected by a core group of players from the previous year’s Second XI; the core group of players comprising of at-least 5 players from the previous year’s Second XI is named by the executive committee.

Second XI Selection
- The Selection Committee selects squad of a minimum of 14 players (maximum 16 players) to represent the Second XI.
- The Selection Committee can add players to the squad during the season from the Touring XI or from new players joining the club, while trying to ensure that not more than 16 players constitute the squad.

Touring XI Captain/Vice-Captain Selection
The Executive Committee appoints the Captain and Vice-Captain for the Touring XI.

Touring XI Selection
- The players who are not on the First XI or the Second XI constitute the Touring XI.
·
Player Movement
If a player selected for a team prefers to play on a team other than the one selected for, then the player can move only in the following way:
- First XI to either the Second XI or the Touring XI
- Second XI to the Touring XI
When this happens, the Selection Committee shall find a replacement for the player on the team the player was originally selected to play for.

Tournament XI Selection
The Tournament Selection Committee will comprise of the Selection Committee and a member of the Executive Committee and shall select the best XI/squad for tournaments.

Selection of Playing XI
The Captain and Vice-captain of the team select the playing XI for a match.
· The Selection Committee shall have a mid-season review of team selection.
- All players are encouraged to voice their concerns through the proper channels in the following order:
1. Captain/Vice-Captain
2. Selection Committee
3. Executive Committee
· The First XI and Second XI are allowed to organize touring games as a touring XI. However, the regular Touring XI gets priority to play the game should there be a conflict of venue/opponents.
