From Boston: Take I-93 South to Rt. 24 South (exit will be on the left).
From NorthWest of Boston: If you are taking 128/95 South, stay on 128S until it ends and then it continues as I-93 North for a short while before you get the exit for 24 South. (DO NOT take 95 South towards Providence!)
From the West: If you are coming from the west you could either take I-90 East to 128S or 495 South to 24 South - depends where you are coming from and which
highway is closer to you.
Take 24 South to Fall River. Continue on Rt. 24 past Fall River and go over the bridge. A few miles *after* the bridge, look out for exit marked Newport/Beaches (Rt. 138) (Exit 1). Take this exit and at the end of the ramp, take a right and continue until you come to a set of lights. Turn right at the lights onto Rt. 138.
NOTE: It is important to stay on Rt. 24, which makes a few funny turns before getting to Fall River and just before and through Fall River, so follow the signs closely.
You are now on 138/East Main road. Stay on Rt.138 for about 6-7 miles. Look out for a Dunkin Donuts on the right and make a LEFT turn at the next set of lights. There is a sign here marked BEACHES. This is Aquidneck Ave/Rt. 138A, but you may not see a sign until after you make the turn.
Continue on this road for about 1 mile until you come to a set of lights. Turn LEFT at these lights. You are now on GREEN END AVE in Middletown. Go through an intersection (there are stop signs for people crossing Green End Ave so you don't stop) and then a stop sign. Take a right at the stop sign onto Third Beach Road. Take the first left off Third Beach Road onto Howland Ave. The Pitch is about 200 yards down the road on your right.
