| Important Notes: It is a Federal
Offense to drive above the posted speed limits on the VA Hospital grounds.
The police will just as soon give you a ticket as look in your direction.
Please stay below the posted speed limits! Also, it is a Federal Offense to
consume alcoholic beverages on the VA Hospital grounds so please do not bring
any alcoholic beverages with you to the games/nets. The police are VERY
strict about this. |

| From
Boston: Take
I-90 West (Mass. Turnpike) to I-95/Rt.128 North. Take exit 31B (Rts. 4 &
225 to Bedford) from Rt. 128 and head north. Go past the center of Bedford
(mall on the left, Bestwestern Sovereign Hotel (previously Ramada Inn),
Dunkin Donuts on right), and past the CVS pharmacy on your left. Soon after
you pass CVS, you'll go past a large shopping mall on the right hand side of
the road. The store "Marshalls" and the grocery store "Whole
Foods Market" stand out in the mall. Make a right onto Hillside Ave
immediately after the mall. (If you miss this turn and come to a set of
lights with Sovereign Bank on your right, you have gone too far!). Keep going
straight on this street through a 4-way stop sign and it will lead you right
onto the grounds at the Hospital. Pull into the parking lot on the right (Lot
#1, 2, 2A) and drive towards the south-east corner (i.e, straight ahead and
to the left). The ground will be ahead on the left by the golf driving range.
Go around the ground on the dirt road and park by the picnic shed (our
Pavilion!). |

| Alternate Route in case of traffic backup
on Rt. 4/225 (recommended for nets): Once you take exit 31B off I-95/Rt. 128,
take your first right onto Eldred St. (make sure you are in the right lane as
soon as you take the exit off I-95/Rt. 128). Eldred St. ends at Grove St.
Take a left onto Grove St (no sign at the T intersection!). Follow Grove st.
and it turns into Page Rd after a while. You will come to an intersection
with a Stop sign where Page Rd. merges with Rt. 62 (if you go straight at the
Stop sign you will head towards Bedford, if you bear right here you will head
towards Burlington - there is a sign at the intersection). At the Stop sign
go straight on Page Rd./Rt. 62. for a short distance. You will see a fork.
Bear right to keep on Page Rd. (if you miss this and keep on Rt. 62 then you
will come to Rt. 4/225) You will come to the 4-way stop sign (same one as in
the directions above). Take a right onto Springs Rd. and follow directions
above from the stop sign. |

the West:
Note that the directions above from Rt.128/I-95 are probably better
than this but these are here for your reference. Take 290 or 90 East to 495
and take 495 North to Route 2 East. Take route 2 East until you reach route
62 (signposted Bedford) and take this exit (on the left). Drive on 62 through
Concord center (it gets a bit complicated here, so keep your eyes peeled for
"Route 62" signs. Take this road all the way into Bedford and it
will merge with Route 4. Follow Route 4 towards 128, and at the first set of
traffic lights you come to there should be a Sovereign bank on the left. Turn
left onto the road just before the bank (Springs Road). Follow Springs Road
(it forks to the right) down the hill then turn left. Keep going straight on
this street through a 4-way stop sign and it will lead you right onto the
grounds at the Hospital. Pull into the parking lot on the right (Lot #1, 2,
2A) and drive towards the south-east corner (i.e, straight ahead and to the
left). The ground will be ahead on the left by the golf driving range. Go
around the ground on the dirt road and park by the picnic shed (our
Pavilion!). |
